Hotel Plantage is looking for a proactive, fun and well organized day shift receptionist to join their multidimensional team on the weekends.
No Experience Needed, Full Training Provided!
Situated in front of the Amsterdam city zoo Artis, Hotel Plantage features 24-hour front desk, room service and trip arrangements. The 22 individual rooms strike a perfect balance between comfort and style. The 2 star venue features heating, television and a kitchenette in each guestroom. Some rooms offer City views. Each room provides you with a private bathroom along with a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries.
As a day receptionist you will act as the main point of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for the daily check in and check out processes and cooperate with the housekeeping staff. You will provide useful information and recommendations about the city and the hotel while dealing with any potential requests or complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests with warmth and a friendly smile
- Be the go-to person for guest needs and questions, making sure they have a comfortable stay
- Handle check-ins and check-outs, ensuring everything runs smoothly
- Receiving and handling reservations
- Coordinating and organizing guest requests
- Handling incoming phone calls
- Providing useful information about the hotel and the city
- Assist guests with special requests and ensure their needs are met promptlyHandle front office administration
Requirements:
- A professional attitude and great ambition
- Solid verbal and written communication skills (English), second language(s) is a plus
- Organization and administration skills
- A trustworthy attitude, eagerness to learn new things and you are a born team player
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- No prior experience is necessary
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule, shifts from 07:00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 23:00
- Hour rate: From €16,09 (incl 8,33% monthly holiday pay and holidays 10,82%)
