Part-time | 8–20 hours per week | Start time 6:30 AM
Are you an early bird who loves creating a warm and welcoming start to someone’s day? Do you enjoy helping people and working in a friendly team environment? Then this role is perfect for you!
What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve a delicious breakfast for our guests.
- Welcome and seat guests with a smile.
- Serve guests during breakfast and lunch.
- Provide drinks and snacks to hotel guests throughout the day.
- Monitor guest safety, report irregularities, and assist in emergencies if needed.
- Keep the lounge clean and inviting.
- Clear away breakfast items and clean the kitchen at the end of your shift.
- Support the team with other duties as required.
About the hotel
The Delphi Amsterdam Townhouse is a boutique hotel with 50 uniquely designed rooms. We combine luxury with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Located near the elegant Apollolaan, and just around the corner from Beethovenstraat and Cornelis Schuyt, our neighborhood is as stylish as it is welcoming—a fantastic place to work and stay!
What we’re looking for
- Availability for 8–20 hours per week (weekend mornings, 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM).
- Preferably living in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.
- Experience in food & beverage is a plus; First Aid certificate is highly valued.
- Presentable and professional appearance.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Flexible, motivated, and positive mindset.
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented.
- Possibility to take on reception shifts sometimes also based on availability
- MBO or higher education level.
